Gigaset Repeater for extending the reception range of Gigaset DECT / GAP base stations and routers - e.g. with a FritzBox.
The additional implementation of the CAT-iq standard, as is the case with all Gigaset HX universal handsets, ensures compatibility with DECT/CAT-iq routers that support the new ETSI repeater standard. This means that the Gigaset Repeater HX is ready for future router generations.
Thanks to the new Early Encryption function, each call is encrypted before it is transmitted. This ensures a particularly high security standard for telephony at the workplace or at home. The re-keying function - i.e. changing the session key or the encryption key of an ongoing communication - also ensures additional data security. The Gigaset Repeater HX continuously modulates the security key even during a call.
The device also supports software updates via the air interface (SUOTA). Thanks to these technologies, the Gigaset Repeater HX also complies with the current standards of the European Telecommunications Institute.
