The Aoyue Station Int. 732 connects a big Preheater with a high power Quartz Top Heater (Gun) and lead-free soldering station.
With this station is possible to carry out 3 types of repairs on game stations.
• With the internal temperature sensor you can reball or resolder already soldered chipsets
• With the external temperature sensor you can control the manual rework process yourself
• The fully automatic reflow process can also be employed by the user.
By means of sensors, which can be attached to the PCB, a precise temperature control is posible, this reduces temperture-induced PCB board damages.
Two sensors are used to monitor and control the temperature, a further sensor serves for monitoring other areas of the PCB, that possibly contain temperature-sensitive components.
The 310x310mm sized Quartz-Preheater with 1500Watt reduces the PCB Bord-deformation. The 60x60mm sized Quartz-Gun works reliably with 500Watt to solder the BGAs.
The system is equipped with the new PCB Bord holding sytem from Aoyue, this multi-point holder has nine safely bolts to hold firmly the different board sizes.
The system is CPU controlled and has a digital display that is easy to use. The device has a built-in overheat protection that limits the temperature. The system limits automatically the temperature rise (industry standard), this amounts only to 3°C per second. This minimizes damaged of sensitive electronic components and ensures a clean operating process.
Operation of Aoyue Infrared Soldering Stations
The heating of the components results from the absorption der IR-radiation. Because the metal connections of the components only have a low absorption, that is they reflect the IR-radiation, the heat has to be conveyed to the soldering points mainly over the component itself, over the PC board which is also heated and the surrounding air. For this reason one works with both radiators (Preheater from the underside and IR-light from the upper side ), to heat or preheat the whole surrounding area of the soldering point. The temperature of the single components can vary greatly. The absorption depends on the material and the wave-length and this in turn depends on the temperature of the radiator. The heating of large and thicker SMDs is slower than that of small and thin SMDs.
