The Aoyue 853A+ Preheater works with a fast heating element Quartz IR (Infrared) which is easily and continuously adjustable.The gentle and uniform heating prevents the printed circuit board from being distorted, overheated or damaged. A large digital display with its display options allows you to monitor the selected settings.

The pre-heating system with a total heat output of 500 Watt and an adjustable temperature range from 80°C to 380°C provides all that is necessary for working on the pc boards or reapairing them. Accurate temperature values can be measured any time with the help of the external dual temperature sensor.

The air volume and the temperature can be set or adjusted in a wide range, the nozzles can be easily replaced so that each component is soldered by using the suitable nozzle, air and temperature setting. Heating elements and nozzles conform to international standard; suitable for the most SMD components, for instance LEDs, SOIC, CHIP, QFP, PLCC and BGA.
The antistatic design as well as the microprocessor control of the 968A + multifunction repairing system prevents PCBs and electronic components from being damaged due to static charging. The control panel as well as the whole rework station are easy manageable. The built-in smoke absorber extracts the fume directly at the source where it is generated. The temperature of the soldering iron is showed on the digital display and can be adjusted by using the rotary knob allowing a fast and precise temperature setting.
The station informs the user via display about possible malfunctions at the sensors or at the heating elements. Another function of the station is the Aoyue Auto Cooling Function, it blows cold air on the heating element when the hot air is switched off until reaching a low temperature in order to extend the life of the heating element. The preheater, Aoyue Int 866, uses a fast heat up Quartz IR (infrared) heating element that is easily adjustable and infinitely variable. The gentle, uniform heating prevents the distortion, overheating and damage of the circuit boards. By a variety of display options, a large digital display allows the perfect control of the selected settings, temperatures and programs.

With a total heating performance of up to 400 watts and a steplessly adjustable temperature range from 100 ° C to 480 ° C, this system offers everything you need for extensive work and repairs on a variety of plates, boards and circuit boards. Accurate temperature measurements can be made using an external temperature sensor anytime and anywhere on the component.

With the integrated PCB holder almost all kinds of Printed circuit boards can be securely fixed and processed. This flexible system also allows an easy gripping of round or triangular boards without much effort.

Preheater AOYUE Int732 Quartz + Infrared Soldering System Game Console
The Aoyue Station Int. 732 connects a big Preheater with a high power Quartz Top Heater (Gun) and lead-free soldering station.

With this station is possible to carry out 3 types of repairs on game stations.

• With the internal temperature sensor you can reball or resolder already soldered chipsets
• With the external temperature sensor you can control the manual rework process yourself
• The fully automatic reflow process can also be employed by the user.

By means of sensors, which can be attached to the PCB, a precise temperature control is posible, this reduces temperture-induced PCB board damages.
Two sensors are used to monitor and control the temperature, a further sensor serves for monitoring other areas of the PCB, that possibly contain temperature-sensitive components.

The 310x310mm sized Quartz-Preheater with 1500Watt reduces the PCB Bord-deformation. The 60x60mm sized Quartz-Gun works reliably with 500Watt to solder the BGAs.

The system is equipped with the new PCB Bord holding sytem from Aoyue, this multi-point holder has nine safely bolts to hold firmly the different board sizes.

The system is CPU controlled and has a digital display that is easy to use. The device has a built-in overheat protection that limits the temperature. The system limits automatically the temperature rise (industry standard), this amounts only to 3°C per second. This minimizes damaged of sensitive electronic components and ensures a clean operating process.

The heating of the components results from the absorption der IR-radiation. Because the metal connections of the components only have a low absorption, that is they reflect the IR-radiation, the heat has to be conveyed to the soldering points mainly over the component itself, over the PC board which is also heated and the surrounding air. For this reason one works with both radiators (Preheater from the underside and IR-light from the upper side ), to heat or preheat the whole surrounding area of the soldering point. The temperature of the single components can vary greatly. The absorption depends on the material and the wave-length and this in turn depends on the temperature of the radiator. The heating of large and thicker SMDs is slower than that of small and thin SMDs.

Rework BGA station infrared welding system
The antistatic design of the Aoyue 720 reliably prevents PCBs and circuits from being damaged due to static charging. The ingenious Infrared (IR) soldering "Gun" is particularly suitable for the focused heatingof the components. The device has a large preheater with pc-board holder for heating uniformly the PC boards to be processed. The digital display enables an easy reading making the handling of the device easier. The IR gun is operated via foot switch, so that the hands are free to work.

The infr-red soldering has the following advantaged and disadvantages.

Advantages:
• Simultaneous soldering process with high efficiency
• Efficient and particularly suitable for serial products
• Easy handlind of the IR-unit, user-friendly
• Temperature of the largest SMDs (high pin count ICs) is the lowest

Disadvantages:
• Temperature profile necessary.
• Temperature of the single components can vary significantly. Small SMDs, for example single semiconductors can be easily overheated.
The Aoyue 720 is an ingenious Rework System as handy as a tool. It can be used to process micro BGA components in mobile phones computers, telephones, video game consoles etc. Handling and operation are simple to come to grips with and the station runs safely and efficiently. This station enables high performant rework applications for most modern systems like: BGAs, BGAs SMDs, SMT Connectors without overheating these components. The heat is generated by means of infrared waves (IR) and not with conventional hot air. The moving and placing of the components can be achieved without protection shield or other tools becuase no air flow is used for soldering.

By non-contact measurement the soldering and desoldering temperature is determined (at the IR-light source and the quartz preheater), simple, fast and safe. After being sucessfully soldered out BGAs can be soldered again in place. No expensive nozzles are needed, the unit is complete and fully operational. Due to the adjustable PC-board surface preheater the user avoids misplacing the components or their distortion. Using this rework system is as simple as placing components on an empty pc board. the built-in screen shield protects the user against IR-radiation.
